Let My Hand...

This photo was taken in my mission field, but it could be at any fields in Asia, America, Africa, Europe, or Australia. This image attracted me because it seems like a missionary is waving and saying: we need a helping hand here, can you send another missionary? When there is a lack of men power on the field, one has to be inventive in utilizing whatever to help out and in this case, a working glove! As you can see if a glove is not on a person's hand, its usage is very limited. I remembered many years ago a song was written for a multi-media program to encourage brothers and sister to serve the Lord. May the Lord uses this photo to wave to you and I pray this song can be your respond to Him.

Without You, how could there be me?
I have never tried giving up my life just to live for You,
I have never fully using my gifts, yet knowing your grace deeply,
As I look back, there was only your fire shining-
before every steps, leading me through each dark valleys.

If without You, I don't know if I can make it to today,
If I had to go alone, I don't know how I could face the storms,
Praying now I can use all my gifts to shine for You,
No matter how tough the roads ahead, I will serve You.

Let my hands, spreading out everlasting hope for men,
Let my mouth, singing praises to the ends of the four corners,
Let my heart, witnessing day and night for God,
Giving up my life to the Lord, to serve Him!
