History

Chinese Christian Mission (CCM) is an evangelistic organization founded in 1961 by Rev. Thomas Wang. He received a vision from the Lord to proclaim the Gospel among the Chinese all over the world. Rev. Mark Cheng joined CCM in 1975 and expanded the ministry to overseas missions.
CCM currently has offices in the US (1961), Taiwan (1961), Hong Kong (1965), Singapore (1977), Canada (1979), Malaysia (1991), Australia (1993), Macau (1993), New Zealand (1999), Thailand (2001) and Costa Rica (2001). Representatives from CCM formed Chinese Christian Mission International (CCMI) in 1997 for a prosperous development in our ministry and a further use by God through collective power and resources as well as becoming one.

Vision

CCMI strives to see every Chinese Church in obedience to the Great Commission, and participates in sending, supporting and caring of missionaries in order to further the Kingdom of God.

Mission

CCMI is a Chinese organization of faith which exists to facilitate all participating locations to assist Chinese Churches worldwide in sending out missionaries to the most strategic places so as to nurture disciples committed to the Great Com mission.

Statements of Faith

We believe that the Holy Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
We believe in the one, true and living God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father, the Creator, Ruler and Sustainer of heaven and earth and everything therein.
We believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ, true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross and shed His blood as atonement for the sins of men, and was raised bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate. We believe in His imminent return according to His promise.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the God-head, who is of one substance, equal in power, and co-existent with the Father and the Son. His ministry is to convict men, regenerate the believing sinners, and to indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believers for godly living and service.
We believe that man was created in the image and the likeness of God, but in Adam all men have fallen into sin, and as sinners men cannot save themselves, but are in need of God’s salvation.
We believe that penitent sinners are regenerated solely by God’s grace and justified through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just to eternal life, and of the unjust to eternal punishment.
We believe that the church is one body, consisting of those regenerated by the Spirit of God and of which Christ is the Head, expressing itself in worship, fellowship, evangelism and service.

Strategies

Reaching the Chinese to Reach the World
The Great Commission of our Lord is to preach the Gospel to all nations, tribes, languages, and people. Chinese people are living all over the world nowadays; our strategy is to send missionaries to reach the local Chinese people and plant churches in order to equip Chinese believers with bi-cultural backgrounds to reach their local people.
Fulfill the Lord’s Commission through Partnership
CCM works with strategic partners (churches, organizations, and companies) that share our vision. These joints ventures will eliminate duplicate resources and manpower.
